For many years now during the summers, I’ve helped coach tennis for my hometowns youth. People often ask me how much I get paid for it or what I gain and I just smile. Not everything is driven by financial  gains. I am often led by my passion. A passion to help others, to make a difference, and to give back.

In a moment of reflection, a mentor once told me if I truly loved what I do than I’d do it for free. Now I’m not saying that to impress anyone, I say it to simply impress upon others to live their lives with a passion. So when someone asks me what I gain, my response is happiness and fulfillment. Knowing that I could potentially make a difference and be a positive influence in children’s lives whether they play tennis or not, means the world to me.

Where will your passions lead you?
