My first cruise EVER! 7 days with two girlfriends traveling to Haiti, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, and Mexico! Freedom of the Seas set the bar pretty high in regards to other cruises in the future. We had gotten upgraded to a balcony room for the same price we were going to pay, the food was amazing, the activities on the ship alone were well worth it but the excursions we decided to embark on more than exceeded my expectations of a girls vacation! First we arrived in Haiti and rode on a roller coaster, it may not sound that exciting but a combination of skepticism and being able to control my speed made this experience somewhat terrifying and  thrilling! Our next stop was by far one of my favorites in Jamaica. Zipping through the forest going fast on short, long, and even straight down lines definitely got the adrenaline pumping! I thoroughly enjoyed being engulfed in the scenery and sharing the laughter and some screams through the jungle.  Cayman Islands was a close pick as well for my favorite as I got to fulfill my dream to swim with the dolphins in the beautiful clear waters as well as the encounter with enormous Sting Rays and smooching them for 7 years good luck! And finally we had made it to Mexico where I insisted on tasting an authentic taco and shop around the local thrift stores. We loved the handmade back packs, plate ware, souvenirs, etc. and made sure to bring back a few things! Overall this cruise I would go on again and again, it was an incredible time for a first time cruiser but even for those who are more experienced.
